“Working at a solar panel wholesaler, that must be boring” is often the first thing people say when I tell them what I do. However, once I tell them more about my job, they usually get excited and I think they have every reason to be.
The belief that solar panels are boring is a misconception. On the contrary, solar is a highly dynamic field. At the moment, ours is the most rapidly growing and innovative sector. Because we are involved in the production of sustainable energy, we are also a highly valued sector.
“Isn’t working at a wholesaler all about moving boxes around?” As account manager, I mostly serve as a purchasing partner for my clients. We are constantly talking about ways to further improve the organisation, price developments, growth processes and smart inventory management. Moving boxes around is only a small part of what we do.
At Natec, we have multiple account teams. The operational account managers within each team are responsible for the day-to-day operations. Together with the client, we work to develop long-term relationships and a successful business. Seeing my clients and team members develop and grow is what motivates me every single day!
